High School
Helling graduated from Parkers Prairie High School in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota, where she competed in tennis, softball, and basketball. She was a two-time academic letterwinner and an active member of several school organizations, including FCA, Knowledge Bowl, and History Club. She also served as president of the Minnesota Honor Society.

In tennis, she was a five-year varsity letterwinner after joining the varsity lineup in eighth grade. She was a two-year team captain and earned All-Conference and Most Valuable Player honors as a senior. In softball, she was a three-year varsity letterwinner, earning Rookie of the Year as a sophomore. She also played varsity basketball for three seasons, earning two varsity letters.

Personal
She is the daughter of Rodney and Pamela Helling and has two siblings, Josh and Jake. She plans to major in Nursing and hopes to work in dermatology. She enjoys playing sports, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
