Biography
High School
Sanchez Trejo completed her secondary education through Prepa Abierta Yucatán while training and competing full-time in tennis at WITT Tennis Academy. During her high-performance training years, she was part of the academy’s competitive program, developing as both a singles and doubles player with a UTR ranging from approximately 5.0–5.3 in singles and 6.6 in doubles.
Missouri Baptist University (Transfer)
Before transferring to USF, she competed at Missouri Baptist University, where she played in the lineup at #6 singles and #3 doubles and gained experience in ITA and UTR tournaments. She maintained a 4.0 GPA, earned strong academic standing, and received a recommendation letter highlighting her discipline and time-management skills. She was also selected for the 2026–2027 Student & Alumni Mentorship Program, a leadership-focused initiative supporting career development.
Personal
She is the daughter of Juana Abigail Trejo Daniel. She is majoring in Exercise Science but is considering a change in academic direction. She is interested in pursuing a career in sports media, particularly in athlete communication and the business side of sports, and is motivated to build a strong professional network through internships and mentorship opportunities. Outside of tennis, she enjoys fitness, wellness, fashion, and creative projects, and has volunteered at church programs and WTA events.
