Biography

CAREER SECTION:

A highly resilient and decorated student-athlete who entered the collegiate ranks following a legendary high school career in Texas. A multi-sport standout who was ranked 12th in the state at 165 pounds, she accumulated numerous tournament accolades, a district title, and the prestigious Most Outstanding Wrestler award before transitioning to the university level. A former regional podium finisher during her rookie campaign, she has developed into a premier pinning specialist for the program, showcasing immense upper-position dominance and finishing her junior season with a spectacular 100% pin-rate on all of her varsity victories.

2025-2026 (Junior):

Put together a breakout junior campaign, serving as a highly reliable asset and a premier bonus-point generator for the lineup by capturing a career-high 11 victories. Contributed 38.5 match points to the team scorecard while establishing herself as one of the most dangerous closers on the roster. Demonstrated absolute finishing capability on the mat, securing all 11 of her seasonal wins via fall to maximize team points in every victory.

2024-2025 (Sophomore):

Continued her athletic development during her sophomore season, gaining valuable varsity experience while navigating a competitive schedule. Contributed 10 match points to the team scorecard, weaponizing her signature pinning combinations to ensure both of her individual seasonal victories were secured by fall.

2023-2024 (Freshman):

Made an immediate impact during her debut freshman season, battling through a demanding rookie schedule to capture six victories. Proved her postseason pedigree early by placing 8th overall at the Bronco Women's Open before wrestling through a deep regional bracket to finish 7th overall at the NCWWC Regional Tournament. Logged 18 match points on the year, anchoring her first-year resume with four dominant victories by fall alongside two wins by forfeit.

HIGH SCHOOL:

An extraordinary, highly decorated multi-sport superstar for the Wolverines, excelling across wrestling, softball, and volleyball. On the mat, she established herself as one of the elite competitors in the state, ranking 12th in Texas at 165 pounds and earning the 2023 Most Outstanding Wrestler title alongside the Wolverine Medallion Award. Amassed an incredible list of prep accolades, including a 3rd-place district finish (2020), 3rd at the Falcon Invitational (2021), 2nd at the Lone Star Arm Bar (2022), 2nd in the district tournament (2022), 3rd at the Eli Beaty Falcon Invitational (2022), and 2nd at the Houston ISD Invitational (2023). Capped off her historic senior year by capturing the 2023 District Championship and placing 4th overall at the Texas Regional Tournament.

The daughter of Santana and Lailah Villarreal, growing up alongside siblings Ethan, Keirah, and Maddox.
