CAREER SECTION:
A highly accomplished, resilient student-athlete who has reached the pinnacle of junior college athletics and successfully transitioned into a key competitor at the university level. Following a stellar multi-sport prep career, reached elite status during the 2023–2024 season at Minnesota North Itasca, where he earned prestigious All-American honors and racked up an impressive 27-win season. Bringing that veteran championship experience into the 2025–2026 redshirt junior campaign, he continued to be a dependable contributor, securing 9 match points for the program.
2025-2026 (Redshirt Junior):
During his redshirt junior season, utilized his veteran experience to provide depth and competitive grit for the roster. Competed effectively throughout the campaign, contributing a total of 9 match points in varsity competition.
2023-24 (Redshirt Sophomore – Minnesota North Itasca):
Put together a breakout, elite season at Minnesota North Itasca, establishing himself as one of the top competitors in the nation. Earned prestigious All-American honors after dominant performances on the mat, finishing the season with an incredible 27 individual victories.
HIGH SCHOOL:
A highly versatile and physically dominant multi-sport athlete, competing at a high level in football, wrestling, and track. Excelled on the wrestling mat to earn both All-State and All-Conference accolades, capping off a stellar high school career with 74 career victories.
PERSONAL:
The son of Angel and Charles Barnett, growing up alongside siblings Rayna and Charles.
