Griffin Osing

Osing is entering his third season as the assistant women's wrestling coach for the Cougars.

During the 2024-25 season, USF held a record of 6-1 and sent 2 athletes to the NCWWC National Championship. Those athletes representing the Cougars were Zoe Adam-207 and Lanna Walter-117.

USF closed out their inaugural season with a 6-3 overall dual record and four NCWWC National Qualifiers. Teila Peters-130, McKenna Hendrickson-136, Brinley Green-143 and Zoe Adam-191 became the first wrestlers in program history to make an appearance on the national stage while Peters claimed the first national win.

Throughout the 2023-24 season, USF outscored their opponents 261-154 in dual settings while capturing three individual titles in Zoe Adam and Brinley Green.

Osing came to USF as the first assistant coach in program history in 2023 following a two-year stint as the head assistant coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Prior to Moorhead, he spent two seasons as a GA for the Northern State men's wrestling team in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Prior to his coaching career, Osing was a three-time NWCA Academic All-American as well as a three-time NSIC All-Academic team member at Southwest Minnesota State. During his senior campaign, Osing qualified for the 2019 NCAA tournament at the 184 pound weight class. In 2019, Osing earned his degree in physical education and teaching from SMSU followed by his masters from NSU in sport performance and leadership in 2021.
