Ben Krush

Ben Krush

Ben Krush is in his third year at the University of Sioux Falls where he serves as the Associate A.D. for External Relations.

Krush will be in charge of external relations, which includes corporate sponsorships, major gifts, and the Cougar Pride Club Annual Gift Fund. He will also oversee athletic development.

Previously, Krush served as Assistant Athletic Director for Institutional Advancement and Major Gifts. He also sepnt time at USF as Director of Corporate and Special Gifts. In that role, he helped build and increase the University’s prospect base while soliciting individuals and business to support university programs. He helped revive the annual Corporate Scholarship Campaign to raise awareness and funds for students’ scholarships. He also developed relationships with young USF alumni while cultivating non-traditional graduates.

Prior to joining USF, Krush earned a pair of degrees from the University of South Dakota, including a B.S. in Business Management in 2009 and an M.A. in Educational Administration in 2011. He was a Professional Development Program Manager for Continuing Education at USF in 2013-14.  Krush also worked in USD Athletics as an academic advisor during 2013 where he worked with student-athletes to promote their academic success and orientation to university life.

From July 2011-13, he was the West River Program Coordinator at USD where he helped create and implement an off-campus recruitment plan. During that time, he increased the prospect roll by 416 percent and the applicant pool by 42 percent. He also served as admission counselor at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. 

While an undergraduate at USD, he was involved in leadership positions including serving as a staff representative/huddle leader for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was an advisory member for the Lambda Chi Alpha Alumni Advisory Board. He also served as the student representative for the USD Alumni Association and as an assistant coach/treasurer for the USD Club Baseball Team.

Ben and his wife, Sarah, have a daughter, Reese, and son, Grady, and reside in Sioux Falls.
