David Rodriguez enters his second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the University of Sioux Falls Baseball program in 2026-27.

Volunteer Assistant Coach David Rodriguez completed his first season with the Cougars in 2026, helping guide USF to a 26-26 overall record and a fifth-place finish in the NSIC. He provided valuable support to both the offensive and defensive aspects of the program, contributing to an offense that produced 358 runs on 501 hits and a pitching staff that totaled 371 strikeouts over 406 innings.

He also supported the program's strong academic culture, as Cougar Baseball produced nine NSIC Team of Excellence honorees, 10 NSIC All-Academic selections, and a CorTrust Scholar-Athlete designation for Tyler Maeyaert during the 2025-26 season.
