George Dutcher is entering his third season as an assistant football coach working with the tight ends.

George Dutcher entered his second season as an assistant coach for the University of Sioux Falls in 2025, specializing with the Cougar tight ends. Under his direction, the tight end unit served as a critical hybrid weapon in an explosive USF offense that averaged 30.64 points and 433.4 total yards per game. Dutcher’s tight ends were instrumental as edge blockers in a dominant ground game that amassed 2,135 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns, while simultaneously creating matchups in a passing attack that generated 2,877 yards and 24 touchdowns through the air. His leadership and position coaching helped the Cougars maintain a highly balanced, high-scoring offense throughout the 2025 season.

In the 2024 season Cougar Football finished the season 8-3 and t-2nd in conference standings. They also had 13 student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Conference teams, 15 athletes awarded All-Academic team and 20 athletes awarded All-Academic team of Excellence.
