Kurtiss Riggs begins his fourth year as the quarterbacks coach at the University of Sioux Falls. He is also the head coach of the four-time consecutive champion Sioux Falls Storm of the United Indoor Football League.

In 2007, Riggs helped former USF quarterback Chad Cavender win the Rawlings NAIA Player of the Year award. The previous season, Cavender was the Victory Sports Network NAIA Player of the Year (2006).

Riggs is a 1998 graduate of USF, where he earned All-American honors and set numerous career and single season records, including 55 touchdown passes in one season, and helped the Cougars win the NAIA National Championship in 1996 - the first in school history.

Riggs is currently ranked second on USF's career passing list.
