FAYETTE, Iowa – Breaking a three-game winning streak, University of Sioux Falls Volleyball fell in straight sets, 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-17), at Upper Iowa on Friday night. The Cougars drop to 12-5 on the season with a 7-5 record in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
The Cougars were limited to 26 kills in the three sets, led by six kills from
Makenna Rockeman,
Lexi Scott and
Averey Yaksich.
Janelle Lam paced the USF defense with 12 digs, extending her streak of matches with double-digit digs to 17 this year.

Abby Feyereisen both finished with two total blocks and Scott recorded the only solo block on the night for USF. Upper Iowa recorded 12 total blocks, which pushed the Cougars into 28 attack errors in the match.
USF resumes their road trip with a 5 p.m. match at No. 15 Winona State on Saturday, Oct. 20.
