MINOT, N.D. – University of Sioux Falls Soccer fell, 4-0, at Minot State on Saturday afternoon. The Cougars drop to 3-5-1 on the season with a 2-3-1 record in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games. The Beavers improve to 4-4-1 overall with a 3-3-0 record in NSIC action.
The Cougars battled with last season's conference champion team, facing a two-goal deficit in the waning moments of the game before Minot State scored twice in the final six minutes. Sioux Falls only trailed MSU 13-11 in the total shot count, but
Kori Fink and
Alexandria Scott were the only two Cougars to put their shots on goal.

Kassidy Graber led USF's offense with two shots each and seven more Cougars each recorded a shot. Sioux Falls goalkeeper
Morgan Perkins made four saves out of the eight shots on goal she faced.
Minot State scored in the 20th minute and USF was able to stay within one goal at halftime. The Beavers doubled their lead in the 57th minute before stretching it to the final 4-0 score with two late tallies.
USF rounds out their weekend road swing at University of Mary on Sunday, October 1, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. in Bismarck, N.D.
