SIOUX FALLS – University of Sioux Falls Baseball Head Coach
Grant Hieb has announced the USF Baseball Prospect Camp will be held on August 5 at Sioux Falls Stadium (Birdcage, Russell and Western) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The camp is designed for prospective student-athletes to receive instruction and showcase their abilities.
To register for the USF Baseball Prospect Camp,
CLICK HERE. USF camp t-shirts will be included in registration for campers who register before July 24.
The camp will be run in a "Pro-Day" format. Participants will be part of 60-yard dash testing, position-specific drills, live batting practice and a scrimmage. All participants will have their results (pitcher's velocity, outfielder's velocity, infielder's velocity, catcher's pop-time, etc.) emailed to them a week after the camp is complete.
Campers are required to bring all equipment they would to a game, including baseball pants, hat, glove, cleats, bat, helmet and catcher's gear (if planning on working out as a catcher). Lunch will not be provided. Campers are encouraged to join a campus tour of University of Sioux Falls (1101 W. 22nd St.) at 2 p.m. following the camp.
Any questions about the camp should be directed to USF Baseball assistant coach
