SIOUX FALLS – The eighth annual SID Shootout, which was hosted by the University of Sioux Falls Athletics Department on Sept. 18, proved to be a success once again.
 
Named for long-time USF Administrator Ken "SID" Kortemeyer, the golf tournament, which was held at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls, served as a fundraiser for the USF Men's and Women's Golf Programs. Sponsored by Schulte Subaru, the participants enjoyed a late summer day in the sun on the golf course.
 
"The event was again a success with those participating enjoying comradery and a day of fun on the course," said USF Director of Athletics Pam Gohl. "On behalf of USF President Brett Bradfield and SID (Kortemeyer), I want to thank everyone who participated for coming out and supporting USF," she said.

 As part of the fundraiser, USF unveiled its winners of the raffle, which was held to support USF Athletics programs. The winners included Beth Naujokaitis of Omaha, Neb., $2,000; Obert Gerde of Sunburg, Minn., $500; Molly Coverley of Minden, Nev., $100.
