St. Joseph, MO - The Holiday Inn Express Classic concluded at St. Joseph Country Club today with USF shooting 56-over at 624 (312-312). The Cougars placed 15th, just one stroke out of 14th.

USF final results:
Gavin Metz finished T54th shooting 13-over at 155 (79-76). In the second round Metz sank birdies on the 529-yard hole 10, the 400-yard hole 14, and the 510-yard hole 17 along with nine birdies. In total he carded four birdies and 21 pars.
Jack Evans bounced back after his 83 in the first round by shooting a team leading one-over 72 in the second. Evans finished T54th at 13-over 155. His second round included birdies on the 342-yard hole 1, the 605-yard hole 3, and the 510-yard hole 17 plus 12 pars. In total he collected six birdies and 18 pars.
Austin Boomsma finished T71st shooting 17-over at 159 (78-81). His second round included birdies on the 381-yard hole 2 and the 400-yard hole 14 plus seven pars. Boomsma carded a total of three birdies and 18 pars.
Cole Harste placed T74th shooting 18-over at 160 (77-83). He sank a birdie on the 510-yard hole 17 plus nine pars in the second round. In total he collected two birdies and 20 pars.
Jimmy Clark took T76th place with his 19-over 161(78-83). With seven in the second round he totaled 13 pars plus four birdies during the meet.
