SIOUX FALLS – The University of Sioux Falls Tennis Team (3-3, 3-2 NSIC) dropped a 7-0 decision to Augustana (6-1, 5-0 NSIC) on Sunday afternoon at GreatLife-Woodlake. In a match that was rescheduled from Feb. 21 postponement, the Cougars battled all day but fell short against the defending NSIC champions.
Despite the 7-0 setback, USF battled throughout the competition, noted USF Head Coach
Kevin Grebin. "We had a solid day but played against a really good team. I like our fire and spark all day. We will have worked to continue to improve and rebound," said Grebin, whose team is back in action in nonconference play against Mount Marty on March 19 at 11:30 am at the Huether Family Match Pointe in Sioux Falls.
