SIOUX FALLS – Graduate transfer Danielle Schaub will complete her career with the University of Sioux Falls Women's Basketball Team in 2021-22, according to an announcement today by USF Head Coach

Schaub joins USF from Concordia St. Paul, where she was named to the 2019-20 All-NSIC second team in 2019-20. In her career, she has averaged 6.7 points (523 career points) and 2.1 rebounds (167 career rebounds) along with 1.9 assists (154 career assists). Schaub has knocked in 101-of-254 three-point field goals for 39.8 percent, and recorded 49 steals in making 39 starts in 80 games played. Schaub has 23 double-digit scoring games with a high of 27 points against Augustana on Feb. 15, 2020 when she hit a career-best nine three-pointers (second-best in CSP school history).

In 2021, Schaub was named Academic All-NSIC and to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence. She averaged seven points (91 points) and 1.8 rebounds while hitting 18-of-40 from three-point range for 42.9 percent. In making seven starts in 13 games, she had 25 assists, nine steals and five blocks.
In 2019-20, she was second on the Golden Bears with 12.7 points per game when she was sixth in three-point shots made per game (2.4) in the NSIC and seventh in assist-turnover ratio while starting all 29 games. Schaub hit 66-of-155 three-point attempts for 44.5 percent. She also averaged 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists while recording 26 steals.
In her career, she has recorded four games of 20 points or more and has made a three-pointer in 44 games with two or triples in 27 games. Schaub has 10 games with three of more triples, three with at least five threes with a career-her best of nine. She had a career-high nine rebounds against Fort Hays State on Nov. 9, 2019 and registered a high of six assists against Minnesota State on Dec. 21, 2019.
Prior to signing with CSP, she starred at Park Center High School in Brooklyn Park, Minn., where she was a three-sports standout in basketball, soccer and softball. Named All-NWSC three teams, she was a team captain for the basketball team twice while leading her team to three conference, four section championships and two state titles.
Schaub has two sisters who have played college basketball (Valparaiso and U-W Stout). She is an elementary education major who has earned a President's Scholarship and a member of the CSP Dean's List.
