Sioux Falls, SD - USF Soccer ends in a draw against Concordia-St.Paul by a score of 2-2 on Sunday.
The Cougars took on CSP with a start time of 1 p.m. today. The Golden Bears took an early lead on the foot of Nikki Anderson with a goal in the 11th minute. CSP tacked on another goal when Sammy Ponsonby found the back of the net in the 38th minute of the match to make it 2-0 at halftime.
As the 2nd half got underway, the Cougars continued in the attack and at the 69th minute, Addison Westermeyer scored her 2nd goal of the season on a penalty kick! USF continuing to put the pressure on CSP, connected on a pass from Selah Tabbert to Kelsey Oswald for the equalizer. The Cougars tied the game up in the 87th minute, seeing the game end in a tie, which is the 6th tie of the season for USF. Holli Knudsen ended the day with 14 shots faced and had eight saves. USF ended the day offensively with six shots on goal, led by Julia Kreutner with two shots.
