SIOUX FALLS – The University of Sioux Falls men's basketball team opens their season on the road this weekend as they take on #25 Southern Nazarene and Pittsburg State in the Central Region Challenge in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Cougars are entering the season 9th in the NSIC and 6th in the South Division following an 11-14 performance last season. With 12 returners, three transfers and four key freshmen USF looks to lean on some experience and talent to move up the rankings.
USF will face #25 Southern Nazarene on Saturday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m. (CT) at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City. Last season was the first time the two teams had gone head-to-head with Southern Nazarene coming out on top, 73-52.
