BURNSVILLE – The NSIC announced their weekly Swim & Dive Athletes of the week earlier today with USF Freshman Weronika Mrozek receiving this week's Swimmer of the Week.
Mrozek placed 2nd in the 1000 Free and was just 0:00.02 seconds out of 1st against tough Division I programs. She currently leads the NSIC in both the 1000 and 1650 Free and sits 15th in Division II in the 1000 and 5th in the 1650 as a freshman.
The USF Swim team has had a strong start as they enter mid-season. The Coo will compete in the Augustana Invitational next weekend at the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls. The meet will run from November 17 – November 19 with sessions starting at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
