SIOUX CITY, IOWA – With five singles wins and a sweep in doubles, the University of Sioux Falls Tennis Team (1-0) opened the season with a 6-1 victory over Morningside College (2-1) on Sunday night (Feb. 6).

Talia Janos opened the season with a dominating 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles while D. Thorfinnson/J. Thorfinnson recorded a 6-4 win at No. 2 and Thinnsen/Nesheim also won, 6-1, at No. 3 doubles.
"It was a really nice start to the season," said USF Head Coach
Kevin Grebin, whose team will face Minnesota Duluth on Feb. 12 and St. Cloud State on Feb. 13 in Duluth, Minn. "We worked through some things and I saw a great start to the season. We played well, were solid on big points and showed great hustle. It was an impressive start across the board," said Grebin.
