Weekend Preview
• The University of Sioux Falls Softball Team (12-5) continues non-conference play this weekend with four non-conference games in Pittsburg, Kansas. The upcoming slate of games in St. Joseph, MO was changed yesterday due to inclement weather in the area starting today. The teams were split up into pods and USF is now in a new location and games times have shifted for the upcoming slate of games.
The new slate of games for this weekend is as follows;
Saturday
• Pittsburg State - 12:15 p.m.
• Central Oklahoma - 4:45 p.m.
Sunday
• Central Oklahoma - 2:30 p.m.
• Pittsburg State - 4:45 p.m.

USF Season
• USF currently has a nine game win streak, going 7-0 at the Spring Games tournament in Florida during spring break.
• During the win streak, USF is hitting an impressive .342 as a team, averaging just over eight runs a game, and from the circle has limited opponents to 29 runs and a combined 2.90 ERA between
Hanna Cress,
Kait Van Der Zwaag,
Bailee Lampman, and
Kennedy Thomas.
• USF has 23 extra base hits, nine of which are home runs for the Cougars during the undefeated stretch. Resulting in 61 RBI's and 76 total runs scored.
• USF had five individuals hit over .400 during The Spring Games tournament, all of which had a minimum of 25 at bats during the seven games in Florida.

• Senior
Kylie Madrid is leading the Cougars from the hot corner during the nine game win streak. Kylie is hitting .441 with 3 homeruns, 7 extra base hits, and 13 RBI.

• Kylie has an impressive OBP of .486, 14 hits in nine games with 29 total bases, and a slugging percentage of .853 during the win streak.
•Madrid was also named NSIC player of the week for the first time in her career due to her performance in Florida (March 7).Â

Recent Events
• USF won their last game against Ferris State by a score of 7-2. The Cougars last loss was 10 games ago back on February 27 against Washburn University.
• From the circle, USF has had consistent pitching from
Kait Van Der Zwaag,
Hanna Cress, and
Bailee Lampman who combine for 12 wins, an ERA of 2.90, along with 79 strikeouts, while surrendering only 28 walks in 111 innings pitched.
