Wayne, NE - The University of Sioux Falls Women's Golf team concluded day one of the Wildcat Classic in 8th place. Maggie Veenendall leads the Cougars tied for 6th.

After the first round of the Wildcat Classic the Cougars stand in 8th and just two strokes out of 6th. Collectively USF carded a 43-over 331 with Veenedall leading the team as she posted a four-over 76. Nebraska-Kearney and Concordia St. Paul lead the tournament each with an 18-over 306 while Augustana sits in third at 22-over 310. Individually, Anna Tollette of Concordia St. Paul leads the field after posting an even 72. Nebraska-Kearney's Allison Comer sits in second with her one-over 73 while 3rd is a two way tie between Mekky Winyarat of Wayne State and Kylie Carey of Northwest Missouri (three-over 75).
