Burnsville, MN – The 2022 NSIC Softball Tournament bracket was announced at the conclusion of games on Monday afternoon. The top ten teams in the regular season standings will participate in the double-elimination tournament, held May 5-7 at the RYFSA complex in Rochester, Minnesota.

Sioux Falls earned the 9^th seed and will face the 8^th seeded SMSU Mustangs at 10 a.m. on Field A in Rochester on Thursday May 5^th.
 
Augustana earned the number one seed and regular season conference championship for the 2^nd year in a row with a record of 27-3 in league play. Augustana now has five regular season conference championship titles.
 
The winner of the NSIC tournament will earn an automatic bid into the central region tournament. The Central region is made up of 42 Division 2 members from the NSIC, MIAA, and GAC conferences. Five spots in the regional tournament will be at-large bids. The NCAA selection show is Monday May 9^th at 9 a.m. central time. The NCAA Championships are May 26-31 in Denver, Colorado.
