SIOUX FALLS – The University of Sioux Falls Football Team is set to open their season in Moorhead, MN as they take on the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons. Kick-off is set for 6:00pm (CT) at Nemsek Stadium on Thursday, September 1st.
The Cougars enter the 2022 season as fourth overall and third in the South Division in the NSIC Preseason Coaches Poll as they look to start their season off on a high note. USF and MSU Moorhead have faced off a total of four times since 2012 with the Cougars winning all four contests.
Most recently, The Coo defeated MSU Moorhead 55-21 in 2018 where USF had more than 400 rushing yards while holding the Dragons to only 118 rushing yards. USF tallied six rushing touchdowns and one in the air as they went on to defeat MSU Moorhead on the road.
