SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - University of Sioux Falls head football coach
Jim Glogowski announced the addition of 38 student-athletes to the Cougar Football program, with newcomers set to join the team this spring and ahead of the 2026–27 season.
"Really excited about this group of talented student-athletes," said Glogowski. "The overall talent of this group is impressive – but the type of people we are adding is very exciting. They're standouts on the field but also high achievers in the classroom as well."
The 2026 signing class is a balanced blend of high school prospects, early enrollees, and transfers, adding depth across every position group. USF signed 9 offensive linemen, three wide receivers, three tight ends, and two running backs on offense, while the defensive haul features seven defensive linemen, four linebackers, five cornerbacks, and three safeties. The class also includes a specialist at kicker/punter, with several athletes projected to contribute at multiple positions.
Geographically, the Cougars continued to expand their recruiting footprint, welcoming student-athletes from nine different states. The class includes signees from Iowa (5), Kansas (2), Minnesota (7), Missouri (2), Nebraska (6), Nevada (1), South Dakota (6), Texas (1), and Wisconsin (8), reinforcing USF's regional presence while adding select out-of-state talent.
The class also brings size and physicality, with eight signees listed at 280 pounds or more and 29 players standing between 6-foot and 6-foot-5. Athletically and academically, the group features numerous all-state, all-conference, and honor roll performers.
USF looks to build on its 7–4 season from last fall as these newcomers begin shaping the future of Cougar Football.
