Sioux Falls, SD - USF Soccer drops Sunday's match to Northwest Missouri State by a score of 4-0.
The Cougars kicked off on Sunday at 1 p.m. at home in Sioux Falls at Bob Young Field for a game against NW Missouri State. The Bearcats struck first in the 18th minute when Kaylie Rock found the back of the net with Teagan Blackburn with the assist. It was in the 35th minute when Kaylie Rock struck again with an assist by Margaret Madden to make it 2-0 for NW Missouri State at the half. USF's Caroline Titze faced 11 shots in the first half of the match.
As the 2nd half got underway, the Bearcats struck both in the 58th minute by Sydney Mueller and again in the 84th minute by Kaitlyn Case for NW Missouri State to finish the match by a score of 4-0. USF faced four corner kicks on the day and Holli Knudsen faced eight shots in the 2nd half for the Cougars. Julia Kreutner had the single shot on goal for the Cougars on the day.
