ST. CLOUD, MINN. – The University of Sioux Falls Soccer team fell 3-1 today to St. Cloud State. The match was played at Husky Stadium on St. Cloud's campus.
St. Cloud jumped out to an early lead with Kira Sosinske scoring in the 7th minute. Krysten Schuster followed closely behind with a goal of her own scored in the 10th minute assisted by Brooke Quam. Linsey Trapino tacked on another goal in the 72nd minute with the assist coming from Brooke Quam
Caroline Titze got the start in goal for USF and made 10 saves on the day.
Sarah Miller got the Cougars only goal at the 89:45 mark. USF had seven shots on the Huskies with four on goal.
This match moves the Cougars to 3-8-2 on the season. The Coo will be back in action Sunday, October 22 as they take on Minnesota Duluth at 1:00PM. This game will take place at Malosky Stadium in Duluth, Minnesota.
