SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls Volleyball team beat Minot State 3-0 today at the Stewart Center.
Overall USF was able to dominate in many categories to get the sweep. They hit .348 for the match compared to Minot hitting .082. The Coo also had 9 blocks on the day compared to the Beavers only getting 3. USF came out hot in the first set hitting .533 which was their highest of the match.
The Cougars were led by Jordan Kuper who had 13 kills and 5 blocks. She had a total of 16.5 points and hit .500 for the match. Sadie Voss chipped in 11 kills and tallied a total of 12 points throughout the match and hit over .400 along with Jordyn Hamm who hit .444.
Elise Gillen was also a standout for the Coo with 31 assists. Caitlin Kellner led the team in digs with 11. Grace Hanel was 3rd on the team in total points with 8 after Kuper and Voss.
RECAP
The Cougars move to 11-12 on the season and 7-7 in NSIC play as they get set to hit the road next week. They take on Augustana on Tuesday October 31 at 6:00PM in the Elman Center on Augustana's campus. Then they will travel to Duluth to take on #11 Minnesota Duluth on Saturday November 4 starting at 4:00PM!
