SIOUX FALLS – The University of Sioux Fall tennis team hosted Gustavus Adolphus last night while coming away with a 4-3 victory and their first win of the season.

Double Results

Sydney Osburn and Ella Hancock paired up to defeat Alli Laux and Emily Norman 7-5.

Katelyn Nesheim and Alissa Thorfinnson recorded a 6-3 win over Emily Carlson and Madison Packer.

Singles Results

Sydney Osburn also recorded a singles win for the Cougars defeating her opponent 6-0 and 6-3.

Emily Thinnsen swept her opponent 6-2 and 6-4 to give USF their second singles win of the night while Ella Hancock sealed the deal with a 6-1 and 6-0 victory.

Up Next

Sioux Falls picked up two double victories while also securing three singles wins. With their first win of the 2023 season under their belts, USF will look to host Augustana next weekend at Huether Family Match Pointe at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 18.
