SIOUX FALLS – The Cougar tennis team took on Augustana earlier today falling 7-0 against the (5-0) Vikings.

DOUBLE RESULTS

Sydney Osburn and Ella Hancock fell 6-0 against Augie's Flore Hadjigeorgiou and Senem Ocal.

Katelyn Nesheim and Brianna Holm took on Aleksandr Kistanova and Gabriela Jancikova resulting in a 6-2 loss.

Emily Thinnsen and Alissa Thorfinnson fell short in a 6-4 loss to Laura Arce Vieyra and Emily Granson.

SINGLES RESULTS

Sydney Osburn went head-to-head against Flore Hadjigeorgiou, but fell 6-3 and 6-0.

Ella Hancock was defeated by Senem Ocal 6-1 and 6-2 as USFs second singles matchup.

Emily Thinnsen dropped a pair to Laura Arce Vieyra 6-0 and 6-0.

Katelyn Nesheim fell 6-1 and 6-2 against Augustana's Margarita Chouliara.

Brianna Holm took on Gabriela Jancikova falling 6-0 and 6-1.

Emma Rangel rounded out the Cougars lineup falling to Emily Granson 6-0 and 6-1.

UP NEXT

The Cougars will be back in action next weekend as they host Minnesota State on Friday at Huether Family Match Pointe. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
