TAMPA – The University of Sioux Falls tennis team fell to the University of Tampa 6-1 today and finish the week 4-1.
DOUBLES RESULTS
Katelyn Neshiem and Danielle Thorfinnson were today's No. 1 doubles team but fell 6-0 to Raquel Amaro and Victoria Sanchez.
Ella Hancock and Sydney Osburn also dropped their match, 6-0, against Anine Wilberg and Savannah Williams.
Emma Rangel and Annika Randt picked up USFs first doubles point, but fell 6-1 against Aleks Topalovic and Rebecca Presley.
SINGLES RESULTS
Talia Janos fell short to Amaro with set scores of 6-1 and 6-0.
D. Thorfinnson competed in her first singles match of the week, but fell 6-0, 6-0 to Sanchez.
Osburn finished the week 3-2 in singles after falling to Williams 6-0 and 6-0.
Hancock took her first singles loss of the week falling to Topalovic 6-1 and 6-0, but finished the week 3-1.
Emily Thinnsen also went 3-1 on the week with her first singles loss of the week coming to Tatiana Harrelson with a 6-0, 6-0 score.
Jaelyn Haler picked up a big 6-4, 7-5 win over Tal Zinn and finishes the week 3-0 in singles.
UP NEXT
The Cougars return home following today's matchup and will look to take on the University of Mary and MSU-Moorhead next weekend.
