Wayne, NE. – The University of Sioux Falls Baseball team beat Bemidji State in a single game today. The Cougars won 18-4.
WHAT HAPPENED
· USF jumped on the Beavers early scoring 5 runs in the second inning.
· The Cougars outhit Bemidji 17-9.
· Ben Serie got the Win for USF throwing 6 innings and only giving up 1 run.
SIOUX FALLS LEADERS
· Tyler Cate, Ben Serie, Brady Klehr, and Isaac Bonner each had 3 hits for USF
· Weston Gjerde led the Cougars with 3 RBI.
· Ben Serie totaled 8 strikeouts in his 6 innings of work.
UP NEXT
The Cougars will be back in action Wednesday March 29. They take on Southwest Minnesota State in a doubleheader. Games are taking place in on the campus of Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, IA.
