ORLANDO – The University of Sioux Falls tennis team continues their winning ways with their fifth consecutive win and a 4-0 start to their spring break trip in Florida. The Cougars defeated Misericordia University 5-2 this afternoon to move to 6-2 on the season.
DOUBLES RESULTS
Talia Janos and Danielle Thorfinnson were today's No. 1 doubles team but fell 6-1 to Misericordia's Brianna Pizzano and Emily Brecker.
Katelyn Neshiem and Emily Thinnsen picked up the Cougars first doubles victory with a 6-4 win over Lydia Barbour and Hailey Loughlin.
Emma Rangel and Annika Randt were back to secure the 6-1 victory over Cassie Benderavich and Erin Cridge.
SINGLES RESULTS
Sydney Osburn fell short in a 6-2, 6-0 loss to Pizzano in the first singles matchup of the day.
Ella Hancock picked up her third singles victory of the week with a 6-7, 6-0 and 11-9 score over (#7/5) Brecker.
Rangel dropped one to Barbour with set scores of 6-2 and 6-2.
Jaelyn Haler starts her singles career off 2-0 as she picks up her second singles victory of the week with a score of 6-3, 6-1.
Brianna Holm picked up her first singles victory as a Cougar with a 6-3 first set before Misericordia's Cridge retired the match
Emily Brace secured her first official singles match victory with a 7-5, 6-0 score over Benderavich.

The Cougars will be back in action tomorrow as they take on the University of Tampa at 9:00 A.M. (CT).
