SIOUX FALLS – The University of Sioux Falls Men's Golf team finishes day 1 of the Augustana Spring Invitational in 1st place. Mason Weeks sits tied for 2nd place.
 
The Cougars enter two squads in this tournament due to it being essentially next door. The first team consisted of Gavin Metz, Mason Weeks, Jimmy Clark, Cole Harste, and Devon Verhasselt and carded a 13 over 197 on the first day to lead the small tournament. The second team included Mats Lund, Austin Boomsma, Anthony Cylkowski, Bronson Vasa, and Garrett Everitt and they collectively shot 28 over with their score of 312 landing them in 4th place. Team A was highlighted by Weeks tying for 2nd and Metz tying for 4th while team B saw Cylkowski tie for 7th and Boomsma tie for 9th.
