BURNSVILLE, MINN. – The NSIC announced their weekly Players of the Week with USF Softball athlete Kennedy Thomas receiving Player of the Week honors.

Thomas went 10-for-21 last week for a .476 batting average while helping lead the Cougars to a 6-1 record. She boasts a 1.143 slugging percentage on the week along with a pair of doubles and four homeruns. Thomas led the team with 11 runs scored and nine RBIs on the week while having one, two-homerun game. She also pitched 2.2 innings on the week for a 0.00 ERA and giving up just one hit.

Sioux Falls softball will be back in action on Wednesday, May 3, as they take on Concordia-St. Paul in the opening round of the NSIC Tournament in Rochester, Minnesota.
