BURNSVILLE, MINN. – The NSIC announced their weekly Players of the Week with USF Baseball starting pitcher Cole Schumacher earning Pitcher of the Week.

Schumacher made one start last week and was dominant. He threw a 7 inning complete game shutout against Upper Iowa on Wednesday April 26. He completed the game with 105 pitches and only gave up 5 hits throughout the day. Cole was able to record 7 strikeouts which is only 1 below his career high. 

Sioux Falls baseball will be back in action on Tuesday, May 2, as they take on Concordia-St. Paul in a midweek doubleheader. Cole Schumacher will get the ball to start game 2 and try to build off of his Player of the Week performance last week.
