SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sioux Falls Golf head coach Wade Merry announces the addition of Bryn Huber and Ayla McDonald to the USF Women's Golf team.
"Bryn and Ayla are going to be fantastic players for us and I am really excited to have them coming to USF. Both [Bryn and Ayla] love the game, have been well coached, work really hard and want to get better. We couldn't be more thrilled to have them join our program! "

Bryn Huber, Huron, S.D. / Huron High School
Huber joins USF following an outstanding high school career for the Tigers of Huron High School. Most recently, Huber was crowned the 2023 South Dakota State AA Girls Golf Champion when she recorded a total score of 145 while shooting 1 over par. In 2022, she tied for third place with USF signee Tanna Phares at the South Dakota State Championships. Huber also won the 14-15 division of the South Dakota Golf Association Junior Championship in 2020. Bryn is the daughter of Erika and Cory Huber and will attend USF starting this upcoming fall.
Ayla McDonald, Wentworth, S.D. / Chester Area High School
McDonald is also coming off an outstanding high school career where she recently placed 5th in the 2023 South Dakota State B Championship with a total score of 159 and 15 over par. Last season, McDonald tied for 8th in the Class B tournament while helping lead her team to a second place finish. Ayla is the daughter of Brooke and Jason McDonald and will tee off this fall with the Cougars.
