KANSAS CITY, MO – The University of Sioux Falls volleyball team dropped their final game of the Kansas City Classic. They fell to #13 Northwest Missouri State 3-2
USF vs NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE (25-20, 25-12, 31-29, 25-23, 15-13)
· Attack: USF landed 66 total kills. They were led by Sadie Voss with 17, Courtney Holsteen with 14, and Grace Hanel chipping in 12.
· Service Line: Jordan Kuper and Sadie Voss each had 2 aces
· Team Effort: Elise Gillen (32) led the Cougars in assists while Davis Guetterman chipped in 23 of her own. Caitlin Kellner led USF with 23 digs. Elise Gillen and Faith Van Eck added 13 and 10 digs respectively
· Standing Tall: Jordyn Hamm led the Coo with 8 blocks. Jordan Kuper added 4 and Anna Ruhland chipped in 3.
Overall
· The Cougars outhit Northwest Missouri State in every set except for the first one. They ended the match with a .280 hitting percentage while Northwest only hit .150.
· The Cougars will be back in action Friday September 8. They will take on (RV) Dallas Baptist University at 9:30AM and #21 Colorado Mesa at 7:30PM. These games are a part of the Colorado Mesa Tournament in Grand Junction, CO.
