Crookston, MN. – The University of Sioux Falls Volleyball team swept their weekend of games. They beat Bemidji State 3-0 and Minnesota Crookston 3-0.
BEMIDJI STATE, W, 3-0
Sioux Falls was led by Sadie Voss who had 13 kills on the day to go along with 14 digs. Jordan Kuper also contributed 11 kills and Kyleigh Tangen chipped in 7.
Jordyn Hamm took the lead for the Cougars from the service line ending up with 5 aces.
Davis Guetterman (19) and Elise Gillen (18) paced the Cougars in assists.
Overall, USF landed 41 kills hitting .282 compared to Bemidji State's .178. The Cougars ended the match with 8 aces, 38 assists, and 41 digs as a team.
CROOKSTON, W, 3-0
Sadie Voss led the way for the Cougars again in this match with 15 kills. She also added 9 digs and had a hitting percentage of .500. Courtnet Holsteen added 8 kills and Jordan Kuper chipped in 9. Kuper hit .875.
Jordyn Hamm had 6 blocks to pace USF. Elise Gillen led the Coo in assists with 19 and Liz Kopp added 12 of her own.
Freshman Faith Van Eck led USF in digs with 13. Caitlin Kellner also added 10 digs herself

The Cougars improve to 6-7 on the year and 2-3 in a loaded NSIC. Their next game is against #2 Concordia St. Paul in St. Paul, MN. This match is taking place at the Ganelhoff Center on the campus of CSP and is starting at 6:00PM on Tuesday October 3.
