USF Soccer Equalizes Late to Draw with Duluth

SIOUX FALLS, SD. - Cougar Soccer equalized late to draw with Minnesota Duluth 2-2.

Morgan Eckerle got the scoring started when she put home a goal in the 39th minute off of an assist from Jessica Eischens. USF's Alivia Tindall brought the Cougars level in the 45th minute with a headed goal off of an assist from Martina Krattley. Kailey Tomzak pushed UMD ahead in the 67th minute with a goal. The Cougars equalized at the end of the game with Hanna Welch getting the ball in the back of the net off of an assist from Abby Flanagan. 

USF had 17 shots with 7 of them being on goal while Duluth had 11 shots with 6 being on goal.  

Delani Daubman started in goal for USF and played the whole match. Daubman recorded 4 saves on the night.

The Cougars committed 8 fouls compared to 9 for the Bulldogs. USF's Mara Nelson was shown a yellow card in the 45th minute. Mara Parker of USF also was cautioned with a yellow card in the 66th minute. UMD had 2 yellow cards shown of their own with Jessica Eischens being shown hers in the 76th minute and Gwendolyn Lilly was shown hers in the 83rd minute.

The Coo will be back in action on SundayOctober 27. They will host St. Cloud State at Bob Young Field starting at 1PM. Join USF Soccer as they honor their seniors on Senior Day!
