EDMOND, OKLA – The (RV) University of Sioux Falls Women's Golf team completed round one of this weeks tournament today.
The Cougars made history today before even teeing off as they were mentioned in the Women's Golf Coaches Association poll rankings. The Women's team was listed as receiving votes, for the first time in program history. They are currently one of just 3 NSIC teams receiving votes in the poll and the 2
nd highest point getter in the conference.
USF then teed off at Kicking Bird Golf Course but played down a golfer due to illness. As a team they shot 28-over par for a total 308 that placed them 17
th in a 24 team field.
Bryn Huber led the Coo with +4 shooting to finish the day in 31
st.
