Sioux Falls answered with two shots on goal, including a close attempt by Mariah Siem, but Mary's goalkeeper, Molly Fischer, held the line. The second half saw a continued defensive stand from the Cougars, with goalkeeper Caroline Titze making critical saves. However, in the 83rd minute, Mary's Rio Spruenken added a second goal, assisted by Tara Young, securing the win for the Marauders.
