SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Cougar Volleyball fell in a tough 5-set match-up against in-state foe #21 Northern State. Although USF put together a solid performance to begin the night, The Coo ultimately fell 3-2.

Final Score: USF 2, NSU 3 (26-24, 25-27, 25-9, 7-15) 

Team Records: USF 12-11, NSU 18-5 

Match Recap 

Sioux Falls took the lead early on, winning the first set 26-24 and showing they could go toe-to-toe with a top opponent. With a big third set, The Coo topped the Wolves 25-9 with a set attacking percentage of 64.3% with 19 kills and just one error.  

Key Coo 

• Sadie Voss led the offense with 20 kills and 9 digs 

• Jordan Kuper continued to make a huge impact at the net with 14 kills and a season best nine blocks on the night 

• Elise Gillen & Liz Kopp combined for 55 assists while helping keep The Coo at a .262 attacking percentage 

• As a team, Sioux Falls recorded 51 digs, 7 service aces, and 13 blocks but ultimately struggled in the final two sets of tonights match
