SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - (RV) USF Swimming competed in Day Two of the NSIC Championships today resulting in 7 podium appearances, 3 All-Conference performances and 1 event champion. After two days, the Cougars sit fourth overall with 301.5 points.

"The Coo showed up once again today," stated Interim Head Coach Anna Moore. "I'm beyond proud of each and everyone of them and how they performed. Everyone stepped up on the blocks and contributed to every race tonight, the energy they continue to bring to the pool deck is exactly what Cougar Swimming is known for. Congratulations to Phini Schumacher on earning her first individual conference title as well as our all-conference individuals! The excitement continues to build every session and we look forward to finishing strong."

Phini Schumacher opened the finals with a first place, All-Conference performance in the 100 Fly with a DII B-cut time of 55.86. Domenica Solano Ocampo and Inn She Yap followed suit with a 5th and 7th place finish respectively. Solano Ocampo clocked in at 57.30 while Yap finished in 57.36.

Emily Aten added another All-Conference title in the 400IM with a second place finish in 4:33.12. Phoebe Mosley joined her on the podium in 7th place with a time of 4:37.73.

Valerie Childs collected another All-Conference honor in the 200 Free with a DII B-cut time of 1:52.05 and a third place finish.

The 400 Medley Relay 'A' team landed a third place finish with a time of 3:49.08 consisting of Solano Ocampo, Inte Pas, Schumacher and Childs.
