SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The University of Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State has announced a change to this weeks doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday, April 16. Due to incoming weather, the two will face off on Wednesday, April 17th at 2pm & 4pm in Marshall, Minnesota at Mustang Field.
The Cougars hold a 13-11 series lead over the Mustangs with their largest win of 9-0 back in 2013. USF has recored 106 total runs against SMSU while holding them to just 80 in the Division II era.
USF looks to end a seven game losing streak while SMSU looks to snap a four game losing streak. Currently, the Coo are 16-25 on the season and 7-13 in conference play while sitting 10th in the NSIC standings and the Mustangs are 17-26 on the year and 8-12 in NSIC play while sitting 9th in the standings.
