SMITHVILLE, MO – The USF Women's Golf team closed out round 2 of the NSIC Championship today.
The Coo had a forgettable outing today as they shot 50-over par and dropped to 9
th place. Through 2 rounds the Cougars have posted a score of 677 (339-338) as they sit at 101 strokes over par. Despite the drop, they are only 5 strokes from 7
th.
USF results from day 2:
Maggie Veenendall is tied for 21
st after a second round 83 put her at +18 for the tourney. She posted a birdie and 7 pars in the second round.
Abbie Ritzer has possession of 35
th place as she is 27 strokes over par. Her second round 85 included 10 pars.
Tanna Phares is tied for 29
th on 24-over par shooting. Her 2 birdies and 9 pars helped her to a team best for day 2 at a score of 81.
Bryn Huber posted an 89 in round two which left her tied for 48
th and 35 strokes over par. She made 6 pars in round 2.
Ashley Tackett scored an 89 in round 2 on 7 pars. She in 32 strokes over par and tied for 44
th.
The final round will tee off tomorrow morning.
