2024 NSIC Softball All-Conference

Schwisow and Naumann Named to NSIC All-Conference Team

BURNSVILLE, MINN. - Cougar Softball landed two NSIC All-Conference nods in freshman, Riley Schwisow and junior Alannah Naumann. The NSIC announced their 2024 NSIC Softball All-Conference teams earlier today with the two landing second team recognition.

Schwisow has made an immediate impact with the Coo averaging a .387 batting average with 53 hits, 10 doubles, 3 triples and 9 home runs on the regular season. She's knocked in 42 RBI while crossing the plate 40 times herself and has also averaged a .701 slugging and .439 on base percentage giving her an OPS of 1.140. On the base path, Schwisow is 17-for-17 in stolen bases, but in the field boasts a .924 fielding percentage with 158 catches, 56 putouts and 90 assists. Schwisow sits within the top-10 in seven conference categories being: stolen bases (3rd), sac flies (6th), home runs (7th), RBI (9th), OPS (5th), slugging % (4th), and batting average (7th).

Naumann is a transfer from Briar Cliff that made a huge impact in the outfield for Sioux Falls. She boasts a 1.000 fielding average with 64 catches and 62 putouts with 2 assists and 1 double play. In the box, she recorded a .342 batting average on the year with 41 hits, 6 doubles, 4 triples, and 2 home runs while crossing the dish 30 times thus far. Shes brought in 12 RBI for the Coo while averaging a .508 slugging and .367 on base percentage for a .875 OPS. Naumann is tied for 4th in the conference in triples and leads the conference in fielding percentage.
