SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - USF Softball landed five student-athletes on the CSC Academic All-District Team with seniors Damaris Cuevas, Hannah Fry and Megan Lawson earning honors along with junior Taryn Wagner and sophomore Campbell Petrick.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
In order to be eligible for this award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and maintain a GPA of at least a 3.50 on a 4.0 scale. For softball, student-athletes must compete in 90% OR start in at least 66% of the institution's games played. Pitchers must have at least 17 appearances or 25 innings pitched.
Lawson secured her second CSC Academic All-District Team honor with a 3.8 GPA to finish out her career at USF. Cuevas, Fry, Wagner and Petrick claim their first honor.
