Brady Klehr Named to the NSIC All-Defensive Team

Burnsville, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference has announced the NSIC Baseball All-Conference awards. Brady Klehr of USF was named to the 2024 NSIC All-Defensive Team.

Brady played in and started every game for USF this season in the Outfield. He had 49 hits in 167 at-bats. He hit 14 doubles, 1 homerun, and had a career high 42 RBI. He had a slugging % of .395 and an on-base % of .354. He tallied career highs in stolen bases with 12 and sacrifice flies with 4. He had 5 different games in which he had 3 hits for the game. In the field, he finished the season with 64 putouts, a career high 7 assists, and 0 errors for the season which gave him a fielding % of 1.000.

For his career Klehr has played 144 games and started 142 of those games. He has a career batting average of .344 and totaled 168 hits and 109 RBI. His career slugging % is .500 and his career on-base % is .404. He accounted for 96 runs scored, 34 doubles, 3 triples, 12 homeruns, 45 walks, 7 HBP, 94 strikeouts, 5 sacrifice flies, and 32 stolen bases for his career. His career fielding stats are just as impressive as he had 236 total putouts, 12 assists, and 4 errors. These numbers added up to a career fielding % of .984.    

USF Baseball finished their season 22-25 with a 15-22 record in NSIC play and a 12-10 record at home. The Cougars' longest winning streak was 5 games from April 2-April 6. The most runs USF scored in a game was 22 against Bemidji State. A highlight for the Coo was beating Minnesota State 5-3 on Dane Small's 2-run walk-off homerun. That win was USF's first win against MSU since 2012 and the first time Coach Hieb has defeated them in his 8 years as Head Coach.
