                     Coral Springs, Fla. – The University of Sioux Falls Women's Golf team was recognized for their outstanding work in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year. USF ranked 10th in Division II for the WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award. 
The award recognizes the women's collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA which includes all the team's student-athletes for the 2023-24 season. USF ranked 10th with a team GPA of 3.783. USF was 1 of only 2 NSIC schools to be recognized in the Division II top 25. Winona State was ranked 9th. 
The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 750 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
